Before we get started
Your questions.
Practical answers.
What to expect when we plan, build, and look after your website or business tools.
01 / Common questions
Starting a project
Scope, price, and the practical details before we start.
How much will my project cost?
It depends on the pages, features and support you need. We agree on a written scope and price before work starts, including any separate software or hosting costs.
How long does a project take?
Timing depends on the pages, features, available content, and review time. Your proposal includes an expected schedule and explains what we need from you. We confirm a start date once the scope and required materials are ready.
Can I start with just one thing?
Yes. We help you choose the work that needs attention most, whether that is your website, local visibility, a repeated admin task, or one promotion. You can start with that project and add more when it makes sense.
Who will I work with?
You work directly with the person planning and building your project. We agree on how to keep in touch, schedule review calls, and explain how to use the finished work.
What should I prepare for the first conversation?
Your current website, a short list of services, examples of your work, and the problem you want to solve are enough to begin. If you have them, bring the tools you use now and any budget or timing limits. You do not need a technical brief.
Does sending the form book a call?
No. It sends a project inquiry for review. We use the details to respond and arrange a suitable next step. Calls are scheduled by agreement.
02 / Common questions
Websites and search
Your content, existing site, and local visibility.
Can you improve my current website?
Yes. We look at what works, what gets in the way, and how the site was built. That helps us decide whether to update it or start again.
Do I need to provide the words and photos?
Bring what you have. We agree on what can be reused and what needs writing or replacing. Any extra writing or photography is included in the quote before work starts.
Is SEO included with a new website?
A new website includes the basic search setup listed in its proposal. Ongoing SEO adds regular work on your pages, business information, and search performance.
Can you help with my Google Business Profile?
Yes, if your business is eligible. The agreed work can include setup guidance, accurate services and contact details, profile updates, and a review-request link. You keep control of the account and grant the access needed.
Can you guarantee a Google ranking or a number of inquiries?
No. Search results and customer demand change, and competitors and business operations also affect the outcome. We agree on the work, explain what can be measured, and review the available evidence without treating visits or clicks as booked jobs.
Do you only work with businesses in Central New York?
Servistri is based in Central New York and focuses on small businesses, including local service companies. Projects can be handled remotely. Tell us where your business operates and what you need so we can check whether the work is a good fit.
03 / Common questions
Automation and marketing
Less repetitive work, clearer follow-up, and the support included in your plan.
Does this always need AI?
No. Moving form details into a spreadsheet may only need a simple connection. AI can help summarize a request or draft a reply when that is useful.
Can you use the apps I already have?
Often, yes. Your existing scheduling, invoicing, or customer tools can stay in place. We check supported connections, account plans, exports, and any extra charges before promising an integration.
Will AI make decisions for my business?
You approve prices, spending, and important customer promises. AI can help summarize information or prepare a reply. An estimator uses pricing rules you approve; missing details, uncertain information, and failed steps go to a person for review.
What could a customer portal include?
Depending on the project, a private link can let customers review a proposal, see progress, or share project files. We agree on access, approvals, and which information is shared before building it.
Will you run my social media every day?
The quote lists which profiles, posts, or templates we will work on. Daily posting and replying to comments need a separate agreed scope.
Are ad spend and software subscriptions part of the project price?
Only when the written quote says they are. We identify any separate hosting, software, AI, messaging, or advertising charges before you approve the setup. Ongoing ad management is also a separate scope unless included.
04 / Common questions
Ownership and ongoing help
Know who controls the accounts and what happens after launch.
Will I control my website and accounts?
Your business accounts stay under your control. The proposal sets out ownership, licenses, access, exportable data, third-party subscriptions, and handoff steps. You approve prices, spending, and important customer decisions.
Can you help after launch?
Yes. Website care and further changes can be arranged. The plan explains what is covered, how to request help, and which software or other costs are separate.
What counts as a small change?
Examples include replacing a photo, updating contact details or adjusting existing text. The plan sets the time allowance and limits. New pages and features are quoted separately.
What happens if something stops working?
The care plan explains how to report a problem, when support is available, and which repairs or recovery work are covered. Any work outside that scope is agreed before it starts.
Is the sample estimator or portal a live customer system?
No. The demo uses a fictional business and customer, with made-up prices. It shows a possible workflow without sending messages, booking appointments, taking payments, or creating customer records.
